Seneca County Chamber Launches New Community Guide

(Waterloo, NY) – The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce has announced the creation of Gateway Connections, a 64 page full-color magazine and digital flipbook that is dedicated to the promotion of the local business community.

“We are very proud of this publication,” said Chamber President Jeff Shipley. “It showcases our diverse economy and will serve as a valuable resource to market the area as an attractive place to live, work and do business.”

The magazine functions as a community guide and contains information on a variety of topics about the area, such as: housing, cost of living, healthcare, workforce development and business support resources. There is also a timeline of major employers that identifies both businesses and products that helped shape the region.

Among the magazine’s most interesting sections are the in-depth, “member spotlight” stories. The articles provide insight into how some of the region’s most renowned companies were formed as well as documenting their many positive contributions to the local economy.

“The guide will greatly benefit businesses and employees looking to relocate to our area” stated Mackenzie Green Membership Development Manager. “It will also serve as a general awareness piece for individuals who already live here but may not know about all the various services and organizations that exist in their own backyard.”

To launch the publication, the Chamber will be holding a special celebration in conjunction with its Business After Hours event on Wednesday, November 14 at the Gould Hotel from 4:30 to 7:00. The event is open to the general public and the Chamber encourages interested parties to attend the celebration and meet everyone featured in the guide and/or responsible for its creation.
